Felt-tip pen drawings on a technical report by the Geological Society of France from 1971 (Frasnian spores from a distinctive region, the Boulonnais; Josette Taugourdeau Lantz).
On this page, the lines of the scientific document become the canvas for another network of signs.
The contours link together, fold back on themselves and echo one another, forming a labyrinthine pattern. A few golden lines emphasise certain paths, bringing other lines to the fore within this dense composition.
The drawing takes shape within this interweaving: it does not obscure the original document, but superimposes a new structure upon it, somewhere between writing and graphic form.
