Typo R explores the balance between typographic rigour and the expressiveness of natural forms. The letter frees itself from its strict framework to become a sculpture combining taut lines and organic curves, strong angles and soft contours.
The upper part, covered in white, creates a clear contrast with the rough wooden base, underlining the duality between purity and material. The meeting of these two states - nature and abstraction, structure and fluidity - evokes the pebble, polished by time and the elements.
In this piece, the R almost disappears as a character to exist fully as a sculptural object, where each surface dialogues with space and light.
