In this new piece from the Typo series, the meeting of shapes is expressed in a subtle balance between contrast and continuity. Depending on the angle of view, the sculpture reveals a J or a G, playing on the ambiguity and dialogue of the letters.
Made from ash wood, it highlights the tension between the sharp edges on the outside and the softened curves on the inside. Wood, a living, organic material, accentuates this duality: an assertive, almost architectural structure, where rigorous geometry opens up to the suppleness of natural curves.
Through this work, sculpture becomes an alphabet in motion, a letter in mutation that questions our perception and reading of forms.
