Meranti, lacquer, stainless steel and steel

The first piece in a series inspired by typographic characters. The “I”, with its square point and rounded stem, again plays on the transition of forms. Metal provides the base (steel) and the balance (stainless steel). The upper part has been lacquered and then sanded with 800-grit sandpaper, making it extremely soft and irresistibly inviting to caress. A true tactile experience, waiting to be discovered!
