Trivium II - Emergence
H33 cm, L16,5 cm, P14 cm
Savoie Blue marble, Via Lattea granite, Amazon White granite, steel
At the intersection of three forms, Trivium II continues the exploration begun by Trivium: that of a balance between distinct forces seeking unity.
Three stones unfold around a steel axis: a light marble, a dark granite, and a white granite punctuated by mineral inclusions. Each possesses its own density, color, and texture. Gathered around the central rod, they form a simple, taut architecture where the volumes seem to open up and respond to one another.
The vertical axis acts as a point of convergence. Around it, the forms find their rightful place, in a silent dialogue between grounding and elevation, mass and lightness. The whole evokes an upright presence—almost a mineral flower or a sign born from the meeting of materials.
Trivium II thus evokes the moment when forces find their coherence, when the diversity of materials comes together in a single form—as if the crossroads were becoming an apparition.
