In this walnut sculpture, wide grooves in gentle curves run across the surface, drawing a fluid movement that descends from the top, like a flow or a silent waterfall. Painted white, these grooves host a small contemporary calligraphy: an extract from a poem by Philippe Jaccottet, discreetly inscribed, like a whisper nestled in the folds of the wood. The whole invites contemplation of the landscape and an intimate reading of the poetic breath that flows through the material.
