Walnut, Savoy blue marble base

15 years ago, I made a pebble from this piece of walnut, which had been badly damaged by worms. I wanted to take it back and hollow out the most damaged parts. The result was “my” sleeping muse. Excavated from a civilization both past and futuristic, with its scars sublimated, I placed it on a marble base enhanced by a metal piece to give it the inclination needed for better display and design.
