Altera was born from Prima, a serpentine sculpture inspired by the Lady of Brassempouy, an iconic figure of the Paleolithic era.

When cast in bronze, the same form takes on a different presence. The patina—a blend of verdigris, ochre, and brown—gives it a new depth and seems to blur the boundaries of time: though created after Prima, Altera appears to bear the traces of an earlier era.

Two materials, two presences, yet a single origin.
